There are now degree programs in how technology is affecting our culture. Georgetown University’s Communication, Culture, and Technology program suggests: “To fully understand the world we live in, we must understand the role that technology plays in our lives -- from how we shop to how we form our identities.”

Let your GPS guide you to Groveland’s meeting place this Sunday on Summit Avenue, turn off your cell phone for awhile, and let’s take a closer look at how technology has been influencing our daily lives.

How can people sustain themselves psychologically and spiritually when forced to spend the bulk of their time and energy in unsatisfying jobs?
"Are You Excited by the Work You Do Every Day?" with Virginia Bergman.
This is a particularly relevant topic at a time when our nation is experiencing a deepening economic recession, and jobs have become increasingly scarce.
