This will be an in-person service at Macalester College. Please see “Directions” at the bottom of the homepage.

  • Right now our world is ripe with opportunities for uncomfortable conversations
  • The holidays can make things even more challenging
  • Come reflect with us on how to make it more likely that these conversations will go well

Tom is President of Esch Consulting, LLC a business that helps people access authentic power and turn their differences into bridges…he and his wife Kristen are members of Unity Unitarian in St. Paul, MN.

Tom Esch has been embracing the power of conversations since 1969 when a whiffle ball game ended badly.   Since then he has completed degrees in Art and Communication from the University of Wisconsin at River Falls and a master’s in Theology from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana.  He also received a master’s in “Conflict Facilitation and Organizational Change” from the Process Work Institute in Portland, Oregon

He was a member of a Catholic religious community for 10 years, and worked for three years as Coordinator of Social Justice at First Universalist Church in Minneapolis. He also does stand-up comedy, from time to time, in the spirit of Fr. Guido Sarducci, as Fr. Vito Incognito. His new book, Personal Accountability and POWER, is a culmination of 25 years of training, consulting and coaching people from a variety of cultures and all walks of life.
