Do We Need to Be Religious? The Theology of Sophia Lyon Fahs

Sophia Lyon Fahs was a professor at Union Theological Seminary and a leading thinker in religious education. Her reflections on emotion, faith, and science contributed to the 1930’s renaissance in Unitarianism. Her theology recognized the importance of human experience and emotions in a liberal faith. In this service, we will learn how her thoughts contributed to Unitarianism and still influence us today.
