The Climate Crisis: How do we respond?

A staggering 50% of all the carbon dioxide humankind has put into the atmosphere since the Industrial Revolution was added after 1990. The world is now 1°C (1.8°F) hotter than it was before the Industrial Revolution. So far, our response has been way too little, too late.

But communities ARE responding. And, in the United States, major party candidates for president are taking more activist positions. For discussion: Can we get in front of this heat wave and slow it down?
