Sharing our Unitarian Universalist values of interdependence, democracy, and the inherent worth and dignity of all people through service, education, advocacy, and public witness is the heart of any congregation’s social justice outreach. But with so many options, how does a congregation know where begin? The good news is that the UUA has a number of resources to help congregations of all sizes find out which social justice initiatives are right for them.
Phillip Lund has over 20 years experience serving congregations in the areas of faith formation and spiritual growth, first as a religious educator in Bloomington, Indiana, New York City, and Chicago, Illinois, and most recently as a UU minister working for the MidAmerica Region of the Unitarian Universalist Association.
